Just over a year ago, my uncle Frank began his own charitable organization, called Quilt4Cancer.  The organization was founded in memory of my aunt, and his wife, Hallie-Jo, who passed away a few years ago after a long bout with lung cancer.  Hallie-Jo, amongst other things, was an avid quilter, and with help from Frank, made many beautiful quilts (they even made me one as a college graduation gift!)  The organizations' mission is simple - raffle off hand made quilts (which Frank creates), and use the proceeds to help in the fight against cancer.  Cancer is something that has hit close to home for both me and Courtney - both of our mothers are cancer survivors, and Courtney's aunt was taken by this terrible disease a number of years ago.  Please take a few minutes to check out Frank's website, and, if you're interested, buy a raffle ticket for this year's quilt.
